Guest Policy and Booking Agreement
The Flying Toucan— Placencia, Belize
To confirm a reservation at Ocean Breeze Beach Resort, a deposit equal to 50% of the total reservation amount (including room rate, taxes, and applicable fees) is required at the time of booking. The remaining 50% of the total reservation amount is due 30 days prior to the scheduled check-in date. For reservations made within 30 days of arrival, full payment of the total reservation amount is required at the time of booking.
Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to the scheduled check-in date are eligible for a refund of amounts paid, less a 10% administration fee.

Cancellations made within 30 days of the scheduled check-in date are non-refundable, and the full reservation amount will be retained.

No refunds will be issued for early departures, no-shows, unused nights, or reductions in length of stay after check-in.

All cancellation deadlines are calculated based on the property’s local time zone in Belize.
Weather & Travel Disruptions
The Flying Toucan is not responsible for cancellations or changes due to:

weather conditions
-
flight delays or cancellations
-
health-related issues
-
government travel advisories
-
natural events beyond our control
For this reason, we strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your trip investment.
Travel Insurance Recommendation
Travel insurance can provide coverage for unexpected events such as illness, weather disruptions, or travel delays. Guests are responsible for securing their own coverage prior to arrival.
