The Flying Toucan— Placencia, Belize
To confirm a reservation at The Flying Toucan, a 50% deposit of the total room cost is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to check-in. For reservations made within 30 days of arrival, full payment is required at the time of booking.
Cancellations & Refunds

Reservations canceled 30 days or more before check-in are eligible for a full refund, less a 10% administration fee.

Cancellations made within 30 days of check-in are non-refundable.

No refunds will be issued for early departures, no-shows, or unused nights.
Weather & Travel Disruptions
The Flying Toucan is not responsible for cancellations or changes due to:

weather conditions
-
flight delays or cancellations
-
health-related issues
-
government travel advisories
-
natural events beyond our control
For this reason, we strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your trip investment.
Travel Insurance Recommendation
Travel insurance can provide coverage for unexpected events such as illness, weather disruptions, or travel delays. Guests are responsible for securing their own coverage prior to arrival.
